MTN Uganda Cornered by the Regulator

For years, Ugandan consumers have complained about Telecom and Content service providers expecting the Regulator to act upon their complaints but all in vain. Just when many had resigned to fate, a regulator that had been deemed sleepy and a stooge of the Telecom players decides to strike. 3rd March 2015 will always be remembered as the day the Uganda Communications Commission redeemed its image.
