The rapid growth in phone usage and ownership in Uganda has led to numerous entrants into the Telecoms industry either as service or hardware providers. Each entrant has had to identify an entry point in order to win market share as quickly as possible. This must have been the thought process that the iDroid team in Uganda went through.
